GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)

The General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: “GTC”) set out the general contractual terms and conditions applicable to the use of the webshop operated by I&S Limited Liability Company (registered office: 1036 Budapest, Bécsi út 38-44. I. floor, Spandora; hereinafter: “Service Provider”).

Please use our services only if you agree with every point of these Terms and Conditions and consider them binding upon yourself.

1. Products available in the webshop

In the www.spandora.hu webshop, visitors (hereinafter: “Customer”) may purchase beauty and skincare products.


2. Fundamental provisions

2.1. For matters not regulated in this GTC, and for the interpretation of this GTC, Hungarian law shall apply, particularly:

  • Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code (“Civil Code”)

  • Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services

Mandatory provisions of the relevant legislation shall apply to the parties without any specific stipulation.

2.2. This GTC shall remain in effect from 03 September 2025 until revoked. Any modification of the GTC is only valid in writing.

4. Copyright

4.1. The webshop, as a copyrighted work, is protected under copyright law.


5. Use of the service

5.1. Orders can only be placed electronically via https://spandora.hu/webshop/. Orders placed by telephone, fax, e-mail, or postal mail will not be accepted.

5.2. The language of the contract is Hungarian.

5.3. Before submitting an order, all order details (product information, billing and shipping details, selected payment method) will be displayed on one page, allowing the Customer to review and modify them before finalizing the order.

5.4. Within 48 hours of placing the order, the Service Provider will send an automatic confirmation. If the confirmation does not arrive within this period, the Customer is released from the binding nature of their offer.

5.5. The contract concluded does not qualify as a written contract, and the Service Provider does not file it.

5.6. If the ordered product is not available, the Service Provider will immediately inform the Customer and refund any pre-paid purchase price within 30 days.


6. Steps of placing an order

6.1. The Customer starts the purchase on https://spandora.hu/webshop/
6.2. The Customer selects the desired product(s).
6.3. The Customer places the selected products in the shopping cart, which can be reviewed at any time by clicking the “cart” icon.
6.4. If no further products are desired, the Customer reviews the cart and may delete products by clicking the “X” icon.
6.5. The Customer provides billing details: last name, first name, company name (optional), postal code, city, street and house number, county (optional), phone number, email address, product type, delivery address (if different), order note, order time (log), and order content.
6.6. The Customer selects the delivery address and method. (Currently, delivery is only made through the Hungarian Post. No alternative delivery methods are available.)
6.7. The Customer selects the payment method.
6.8. The Customer submits the order.


7. Payment and delivery information

7.1. The Customer must pay the purchase price and delivery fee in Hungarian Forints (HUF) by bank card (via OTP SimplePay) or direct bank transfer.

7.2. Payment must be completed before the delivery (receipt) of the order.

7.3. By placing the order, the Customer acknowledges that the Service Provider is entitled to pass on any damages or costs arising from incorrect data entry by the Customer, and excludes liability for performance based on incorrect information.

7.4. The Service Provider delivers products using the services of the Hungarian Post.

7.6. Product prices include VAT.

7.7. Delivery time: 14 days.


8. Right of withdrawal

8.1. The rules for withdrawal are set forth in Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) on contracts between consumers and businesses, and the Civil Code.

A “consumer” is defined in Section 8:1 of the Civil Code as a natural person acting outside the scope of their profession, self-employment, or business activity. Legal entities cannot exercise the right of withdrawal without justification.

8.2. Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the Customer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving reasons, provided that the product packaging is unopened.

Important: The Service Provider sells cosmetic and beauty products (creams, etc.), which, for health protection and hygiene reasons, cannot be returned once opened. The right of withdrawal does not apply to opened products (Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), Section 29 (1) e)).

8.3. Withdrawal in writing may be sent to the Service Provider by registered post to the registered office, or by email to info@spandora.hu within the above deadline. The declaration may also be made using the sample withdrawal form provided in Annex 1, though this is not mandatory. The Service Provider will confirm receipt of the electronic withdrawal within 2 working days.

8.4. The day the Customer receives the product is considered the date of delivery.

8.5. In the case of withdrawal, the Customer must return the product at their own expense to the Service Provider’s registered office (1036 Budapest, Bécsi út 38-44. I. floor, Spandora) within 14 days of the withdrawal notice. The Service Provider must refund the purchase price within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice, but may withhold payment until the product is returned or proof of return is provided (whichever occurs first). Refunds will be made using the same payment method used in the original transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees otherwise. No additional fees will be charged for refunds.

8.6. The Service Provider may claim compensation for damages resulting from improper use of the product.

8.7. The Service Provider strives to ensure that all data on the website (product prices, availability, descriptions, etc.) are accurate and up to date.

Warranty provisions follow the Civil Code and applicable laws. Further details are available in Annex 2.


9. Miscellaneous provisions

9.1. Customer complaints may be submitted in writing by email to info@spandora.hu, or in person at the Service Provider’s registered office. Complaints by phone may be made at +36 1 5508 52, available on working days between 9:00 and 17:00.

9.2. Oral complaints (by phone):
Oral complaints must be investigated immediately and remedied if possible. If the Customer does not agree with the handling of the complaint, or if immediate investigation is not possible, the Service Provider must record the complaint and its position in writing. For personal complaints, a copy of the record must be provided to the Customer on the spot. Oral complaints must be answered in writing within 30 days, except in the cases listed below.

If the Customer does not provide:

  • name,

  • address or email,

  • detailed description of the complaint,

  • list of submitted documents or evidence,
    or refuses to sign the record, the Service Provider is not obliged to respond in writing.

For complaints submitted by telephone or electronic communication, the Service Provider must send a copy of the record to the Customer with the substantive reply at the latest, and assign a unique identification number to the complaint. Records of complaints must be retained for 3 years.

9.3. Written complaints:
Written complaints must be answered substantively within 30 days. Copies of the complaint and the reply must be retained for 3 years and provided to the authorities upon request.

9.4. If a complaint is rejected, the Service Provider must inform the Customer in writing about:

  • (i) which authority or conciliation body may be contacted, depending on the nature of the complaint,

  • (ii) the contact details of the competent conciliation body based on the Customer’s residence or registered office,

  • (iii) whether the Service Provider has made a general declaration of submission to conciliation.

9.7. The Service Provider may send newsletters to the Customer if the Customer has voluntarily, expressly, and clearly consented by providing their data. The Service Provider is not obliged to verify the correctness of the data provided.

9.8. The Customer may withdraw their consent to newsletters at any time. After withdrawal, no further newsletters will be sent, and the Customer’s data will be deleted from the newsletter subscriber list.
